About the Author:

Erin Mooney Martin holds a doctorate in educational leadership from Plymouth State University and has devoted her career to both the practice and study of teaching. She currently teaches visual arts at the high school level and brings her expertise to higher education as an adjunct lecturer, where she teaches courses in educational leadership, ethics, and research methods. With a career spanning elementary, middle, and high school classrooms, Erin’s work is grounded in a deep commitment to teaching, learning, and equity. Her research focuses on teacher empowerment and retention, and she has contributed scholarly work to peer-reviewed journals and national conferences. Coming from a long line of educators, she continues to champion the belief that strong, supported teachers change the trajectory of students’ lives.
