Lynn Gehrke Photo

Lynn Gehrke is the Chair of the Department of Undergraduate Teacher Education at Concordia University. After earning her BA in Elementary Education from Concordia University-St. Paul, Lynn taught in public elementary schools. Her emphasis changed when she left the elementary world to start an early learning program for 3, 4, 5 year olds. She taught and directed the program at Zion Lutheran Preschool for nine years before starting her work at Concordia University. During the time at the preschool, she earned her MA Ed-ECE from Concordia University. She earned her Ph.D. in Curriculum & Instruction with an Early Childhood Emphasis from the University of MN-Twin Cities. Lynn lives in St. Paul, MN.
