About the Author:

The eight authors are led by Dave Riley, PhD, a professor of human ecology and associate dean at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He has been co-director of the Wisconsin Early Childhood Excellence Initiative, and was a consultant to Head Start programs for several years. The three other lead authors are Robert R. San Juan, PhD; Joan Klinkner, MEd; and Ann Ramminger, B.S. All eight authors are professors and early childhood professionals who collectively have extensive academic and practical experience in early childhood education.
