Biography: Deborah Hewitt began her work with young children as a therapeutic preschool teacher in the inner city and continues by teaching in a learning readiness preschool program. She also consults with child care providers and conducts workshops for early childhood professionals, and she has served as a child development associate (CDA) advisor and on the board of directors of the Minnesota Association for the Education of Young Children.
