Sandra Heidemann
Biography: Sandra Heidemann has played many roles in the early childhood field, from classroom aide to teacher. She has taught in regular and therapeutic preschool classrooms, led numerous workshops, is past president of Minnesota AEYC, and a codirector of a family support program. Currently, she is the classroom coordinator of Words Work!, an early literacy professional development initiative. She coauthored Pathways to Play, The Optimistic Classroom, and several articles. She has her masters in teaching young children with special needs from Wheelock College.
