December's Tickler is from J. Russell in Duvall, WA:
While waiting at the school bus stop with several children ranging from 2 to 7, we spotted an airplane very high up in the
sky. One of the younger children started shouting and waving at it. I asked the kids if they thought we could be heard if we
all shouted together. One of the kindergartners looked at me with a scowl, put her hands on her hips, and said in a very
matter-of-fact tone of voice, "Jim, airplanes don't have ears!"
