This book is a must-read for anyone who has been challenged by the behavior of a young child. Ms. Hewitt offers practical strategies to the reader, which they can use to guide children through their experiences and interactions in the social world. I know I will use it again and again as a reference!
Review: The Midwest Book Review- Wisconsin Bookwatch December 2011 - December 1, 2011
Normalcy proves to be a myth in youth. "So This is Normal Too?" is the second edition of Deborah Hewitt delving into her experience with early childhood education, as many parents fae children who develop in ways that they may not understand as perfectly normal and natural. Discussing brain development, the ins and outs of language, and helping children understand what they might not yet be able to. "So This is Normal Too?" is a fine pick for those concerned about early childhood development.
