Michelle Worthington lives in Brisbane, Australia, and has loved
writing all her life. She is the author of several award-winning picture
books and has won a number of poetry and writing competitions.
Her favorite food is chocolate donuts, and if she wasn’t a writer, she
would want to be a fairy.
ABOUT THE ILLUSTRATOR
Joseph Cowman lives and paints in the hills and valleys of
suburban Idaho. He spends his free time exploring and enjoys
visiting schools and giving students illustration lessons. He is a
longstanding member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and
Illustrators, and the illustrator of six other Redleaf Lane books.
