Take Art Outdoors!
Step two: Paper with playough scissors
Art experiences outdoors are exciting and often
bigger and better than those indoors. Anything
you can do artistically inside, you can do outside,
only bigger, better, and more! Children can express
themselves freely with big movements and an ex-
cess of materials. For adults, taking art outdoors
means less worry about messy materials and cre-
ating a messy room. Often materials such as paint
can be easily washed off or hosed clean. When the
teachers are more accepting of this form of art and
more freedom is given to the children, the children
become more apt to explore and create openly.
