One is the year-to-date total at the bottom of the monthly expense report for December. The second is the list of direct business expenses on the income tax worksheet. Take the totals that best represent your deductions, and enter them in the appropriate expense category in the Tax Organizer. Your Vehicle Expenses To calculate the miles that you drove on trips for which the primary purpose was busi­ ness, enter information from your written records, such as the Redleaf Calendar-Keeper, the Mileage-Keeper, receipts, and canceled checks on the lines below. If you used more than one vehicle for your business last year, photocopy this part of the Tax Organizer and fill out one worksheet for each vehicle you used.
