Butterflies and Barbed Wire 17
What happens in your body when you are under stress?
What happens in your mind?
How do you react to stress? What do you do or fail to do?
How do you behave with other people?
Take a few more long and deep cleansing breaths. Close your
eyes and on the inside of your eyelids create an image of you
and the thing that stresses you the most. In the space provided,
draw the image you just created. You do not have to be an artist
to do this; just do your best to put the mental image on paper. It
sounds silly, but taking time to recreate this mental image makes
it more real and helps you better understand your relationship
with your stress.
